Handmade of the most exclusive materials like jacquard woven fabrics from Italy and France, some fabrics of known fashionbrands like Loro Piana and Fendi. The cushions are made in limited editions and numberd, so you are ashured to have unique cushions on your couch!
Our Circular Fabrics are the result of an overproduction, or the remains of high-end designer creations that would otherwise have to be destroyed. QJ design gives these precious fabrics a second change!
The cushions are handmade in The Netherlands. We use the most exclusive fabrics from deadstock, because we deeply care about no waste! All cushions have a zipper so they can be drycleaned, the inner cushion is filled with 100% recycled duck down and feathers for a luxury look and feel!
Pouffes
Pouffes are a must have! They enrige your livingroom, bedroom, enterence hall and even the bathroom. Use them as decoration, as a side table, footstool or even as an extra seating at the table. They will definitly give your room a boost!
We can custome make your pouffe matching your beautiful cushion! Also for the pouffes we use our Circular Fabrics. They are the result of an overproduction, or the remains of high-end designer creations that would otherwise have to be destroyed. QJ design gives these precious fabrics a second change!
The interior of the pouffe is filled with 100% recycled eps granules for a full form filling that can be used for seating.

QJ premium styling service
The art of styling your sofa, yes it's a thing!
What is the right amount of cushions, which sizes, colors, paterns and fabrics are teh perfect match together? We offer you our QJ premium styling service!
How does it work? In advance we ask you to send some pictures of the room and sofa, bed, lounge chair you want to give a boost. We will make a selection of cushion and come to your house so we can make the best match and lift your room to the next level!
We can also help you with the complete styling of your house. QJ design can arrange all your soft furnishings. We also have a wide collaboration with professionals like art galleries, vintage design furniture studios, ETC design centre and more....

Joleen van Brunschot-van Wijk
QJ design has been founded by Joleen van Brunschot-van Wijk, a passionate designer skilled in fashion and design. After het education at the art academy and her internship at couturier Mart Visser she went her own creative way. At her own studio she designs and creates unique cushions and bags. In her spare time she restyles vintage furniture and other decorative items.
Joleen's love for fabrics and other materials brings her on a journey to escpecially Italy and France. Here she finds the most exclusive and luxury fabrics that inspires to create the most beautiful items.
And the name? QJ stands for Quatorze Juillet, a French holiday celebrated on the 14th of july which also is Joleen's birthday.
